Test Env: Mozilla 1.1 on hpux11, windows 2000 Repeat steps. 1) open email and newsgroup windows. 2) click sort in subject, or sender or date. 3) watch the result. the sequence is reverse. sign (^) means from lower to higer, pls compare other mail client. sign (V) means from higher to lower.

Reporter apparently thinks the sort arrows point in the "wrong", unexpected or unintuitive direction. I guess that's arguable. Mozilla uses the triangle in this manner: A > Z the 'arrow' points towards the 'larger' end of the sort order 1999 > 2003 same thing here The arrow is being used as a directional indicator, not as a magnitude indicator. However, if you really dislike it this way, I believe you can customize it by tweaking the skin.
