User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:80.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/80.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Wait unitl Thunderbird created new TODOs from recurrent ones
- Watched the data for oder TODOs that Thunderbird created from recurrent TODOs
- Checked the used SQLite Database where Thunderbird saves calendar data (data is not present there too)
Actual results:
Since v78.2.2 i have an enormous data loss for all descriptions and attachments in TODOs that Thunderbird generated from recurrent TODOs. This is true for the once created from Thunderbird before version 78.2.2 and for the the once that v78.2.2 creates.
The data for the recurrent TODOs and TODOs which are not created from recurrent ones are still there. This is also true for the data of all events.
I am very angry about that since there is no way to get the data back and even the data of the new TODOs are not saved by Thunderbird.
Expected results:
The data for TODO descriptions and attatchments should be saved (as it was in previous versions).

Local calendar, CalDAV, or what?
Sometimes the data of (from recurrent TODOs) generated TODOs have the data of the recurrent TODOs (which is correct) but they disappear when i finish the generated TODO.
By the way: With recurrent TODO i mean the ones which are created ones manually with a repetition. The (from recurrent TODOs) generated TODOs are the once which will automatically be generated by Thunderbird each time the TODO starts.
Sometimes i can only see that the data to newly generated tickets are deleted after i restarted thunderbird.

Correction to Comment 5:

Its not "tickets". I meant TODOs.

Reporter (fakename), can you reproduce the problem with a newly created local calendar in which you create the todos? Have you installed any add-ons to Thunderbird? And are there any error message (menu "Tools" > "Developer Tools" > "Error Console")? Feel free to strip any personal information from the error message when pasting/attaching to this bug report.
i made some screenshots. Is there a way to add images to a comment ? Is there a way to export the error console of thudnerbird ?

The context menu in the error console has the ability to "select all" and "copy message". You can attach a text file where you pasted the selected/copied message.

I will do the newly created local test calendar to reproduce the error tomorrow.

I want to add that i changed from 32 to 64 bit version. Probablz this is the reasons for the data loss.

This was very likely bug 1664731. Try Thunderbird 78.6.1.
