On openstreetmap.org with Firefox 80 on Android, zooming the map using the pinch/zoom gesture doesn't work. On Chrome or Firefox Nightly, it's working though. Not sure if this is a known bug that will ride the train to the next release.

Ok, that might be also true for me. I thought I remembered that I noticed it on NIghtly initially, but when I checked again when filing the bug, it worked on Nightly but not on Release.

WFM on Nightly but only very intermittently on release. Might be the same problem as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1648491 which was fixed recently.

Can you post your detailed Firefox version, with the gecko build identifiers and such?

I think I'm running into an unrelated issue where pinch-zooming is not working at all (as in, on any website) in the Android emulator in newer Fenix builds.
Pinch-zooming does work fine in GVE, and I was able to use GVE to get a fix range for the OpenStreetMap issue: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=e00579f0f7354760631f6dc8f1d6ba9a31a59b51&tochange=fe5de4235a06718aff9fd9fa34801916fd7fedd2.
The fix range does include bug 1648491, so I'm pretty sure that's what fixed it. This fix is in 82; probably too late to get it into 81 now.

Thanks! I'll mark this a dupe of bug 1648491 then. I didn't realize it affected Android so much or I would have requested uplift for it when I landed it, but yeah, it's probably too late now.
