Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0 SeaMonkey/2.53.3

Steps to reproduce:

Only about 15-20% of the websites with videos that I visit, the video controls will not work when I click on them. You can start the video but, after it starts I can't fast forward using the sliding bar at the bottom to another part of the video. When I click on the "stop" button, it won't stop. When I click on the "full screen" icon it will not go to full screen. I tried to figure out what video player the sites are using and have been unable to figure out it. I believe it started in the version before 2.53. I hoped it would be fixed before version 2.53 came out. However, the controls still are not working on videos on certain sites. It seems that some sites changed overnight. The videos work correctly and the next day the controls don't work. The videos controls work correctly on Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge but not on Seamonkey.

Actual results:

Searched the web for answers and found none. None of the video controls worked on a few site with videos. Tried the same sites with the videos on Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge and they all worked fine.

Expected results:

The video controls should work on all sites as Firefox, Chrome and MS Edge does.
