Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Component: Untriaged → Widget: Gtk
Product: Firefox → Core

Does it work for you with current nightly / beta? Is there anything in the browser console?

Do you have any other interesting prefs changed? That is, does it work on a clean profile where you only toggle print.tab_modal.enabled?

Thanks!

  1. Downloaded four hours ago. https://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/firefox/releases/81.0/linux-x86_64/ru/firefox-81.0.tar.bz2
  2. Browser console screenshot attached.
  3. No, prefs last edit was about 70.x version. If toggle print.tab_modal.enabled to false get old interface.

I meant, does it work if you download a build from https://nightly.mozilla.org?

That being said the browser console makes me think this is just bug 1663503 (which is one of the reasons this pref is not default-on for releases).

The product::component has been changed since the backlog priority was decided, so we're resetting it.

That being said the browser console makes me think this is just bug 1663503 (which is one of the reasons this pref is not default-on for releases).

Or bug 1662946, which is now fixed on Nightly.

I also think it would be useful to know if a Firefox Nightly build downloaded from that page works for you, Anton.

I try firefox-83.0a1.ru.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 from https://nightly.mozilla.org
Working fine, print preview worked.

Thanks for testing. I'll close this as fixed by bug 1662946 then. The fix from that bug should be uplifted to Beta 82 for the Beta build that goes out around the middle of this week.
