Any Twitter URL (even https://twitter.com/) is causing Firefox 81.0 on macOS 10.15.7 to show a Network Protocol Violation error.

Interestingly enough, it works perfectly in a Private Browsing window.
Hey there! I had the same issue, this fixed it for me:
- Go to about:serviceworkers
- Search for all twitter serviceworkers (ctrl+f : twitter)
- Unregister all of them
- Reload
