Filing this after reading https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1307355

On Windows, when you right click on the Firefox icon in the taskbar you get some additional options on how you want to start Firefox. However, there's no option to help users who are encountering startup crashes such as the one reported above.

Perhaps a "Start without restoring session" option would have been helpful to the user reporting the issue above, but there are a couple of issues with that. First, some users don't have the setting to automatically restore their session enabled, and may not even be aware of it, so it would seem a bit strange to them. Second, not all startup crashes can be avoided by avoiding session restore. For example, the crash may be due to an add-on they've installed. So probably a "Start in Safe Mode" item would make more sense.

Hi,
Setting a component for this in order to get the dev team involved.
(If the team feels it's an incorrect one please feel free to change it to a more appropriate one.)
Best regards,
Clara

Not sure there is a great component for this but the menu there is built by the shell integration component so I guess there.
