The initial data points if the Alert 27062 to a patch that has nothing to do with build system (Bug 1665489). Retriggers for build times are really slow and spread over machines. After the jobs that reveal something conclusive are done, will do the appropriate actions.

This appears to be the same issue identified in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1665489#c8. In that bug I posited that bug 1666525 was the RC, which is to my knowledge the best hypothesis that we have so far, but we don't have conclusive proof of that yet.

Ricky, I left this open as I saw that you have it on triage. The retriggers pointed to the clang update, but if you strongly believe that it's not the culprit, feel free to investigate.

My best guess is the clang update. Unfortunately the likely resolution if that were the case would be WONTFIX.
