User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:81.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/81.0
Steps to reproduce:
I copy pasted a content into a tweet that I wanted to write for Twitter,
or a message in Facebook messenger.
Actual results:
When I paste some text to Twitter or Facebook messenger, the editor component of the page just crashes and I have to reload the page.
I'm currently unable to copy paste sometimes on these websites.
I also noticed that this behavior breaks other editors.
Expected results:
The content should have been copied.
I can share a desktop recording of the 2 bugs in private.
Thanks !

After a bit of investigation, I found out that an about:config edit that I made a few years ago is the origin of the crashes I have today when pasting text:
https://twitter.com/mtarral/status/1067777778093821957
Enabling again dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled makes copy paste work as expected.
I disabled this setting to be able to bypass the limitations of some website that wouldn't let me copy paste my 30+ char password in their form (for security reasons)
Would it be possible to repair this set and make it compatible again with Twitter/Facebook and others ?
Thanks.
