Details

In many browsers the img alt tag is displayed as a yellow help tag when the mouse is over it. This is a good enhancement to be implemented. Many sites present their captions this way; e.g., http://news.bbc.co.uk/ Thanks!
The Alt tag is not for a tooltip. It should only be shown if the image is broken. For a tooltip you must use "title" *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 25537 ***
