In some cases, with the Fission experiment turned on and trying to reproduce this crash: https://crash-stats.mozilla.org/report/index/ffd4e151-45fc-45ec-8bf3-007300201022

... I am unable to drag the last tab out of a new window and reparent it to a different window. It's not that it doesn't land, but that clicking and dragging the tab doesn't visibly separate it from its current window at all.

I'm on Win10 current, Nightly current, Fission and all other experiments enabled. Hardware is a Surface Book 2.

Mike, can you reproduce this bug in a new profile? Perhaps one of the other Nightly Experiments is interacting with Fission tabs?

I'll do my best - I ran into this problem while trying to reproduce or bisect 1672560 so it's very possible that I ran into some intermediary failure mode on my way to that crash. I'll bring back STRs if I can.

Neil, this was the one I was talking about in the meeting. I couldn't repro it either but I'm on Mac, maybe it's platform-dependent?

I'm sorry to take up this team's headspace with this. Since the cause of the crash mentioned above was identified and rolled back I have been completely unable to reproduce this bug.

I'm going to close this bug as "invalid" for now and revisit it if I can ever reproduce it.

I can't reproduce on Windows. Dragging the only tab in a window opens a new (non-maximized) window, whether Fission is enabled or not.

Clearing needinfo for Neil since I can't reproduce on Windows and Mike closed this bug because he can no longer reproduce.
