Reporter, what version are you using (see Help -> About Mozilla). And what version of the OS - is it 10.2 (Jaguar) ? Mozilla crashes very often when you're using Java on Jaguar (Jaguar changed something in Java, and it which was released after Mozilla 1.1, so don't blame us). That would be bug 154699, which is already fixed (but not in 1.1)
