Some printers, for example receipt printers, have a very long potential page even though the typical print is usually relatively short.

This was highlighted in bug 1672370 comment 26 and 28, where the page size returned by the receipt printer is 72mm by 3000mm resulting in a very long narrow preview, even though only the top of the page is used and will be printed by the receipt printer.

It would be good if we could use some sort of heuristic, possibly based on the difference between the page width and length, but also possibly including the difference between the rendered length and the potential page length, to display only the rendered part of the page in these cases.
