Basic information

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open https://store.steampowered.com/newshub/app/362890/view/2925611484592371251

Expected Results:

Load in a few seconds - Chrome seems to do this in less than 10 seconds.

Actual Results:

Firefox takes about a minute to load this page.

41% under mozilla::gfx::AlphaBoxBlur::Blur. Seems like a graphics issue.

This is likely fixed by WebRender. So we need to find out why WebRender is not enabled on this device.

Well, that (for me) is bug 1630356, but the original poster has a https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_one-6327.php (Adreno 330).

Just so it is clear, the profile I provided is from my Adreno 305 device.

Ok, we sure need to get that corruption bug addressed and see how the page works under WR, as Markus suggested.
Asif, you reported in that other issue that you can run with picture-caching disabled. Does it make the page loaded faster?

Picture caching cannot be turned off anymore since bug 1670842.

Fwiw, Nical's recent work to switch us to using 2d textures is a step towards enabling webrender on adreno 3xx. Just the triangles issue remaining that I'm aware of. Hopefully I'll have some time to look at it soon.
