In accordance with the "Derogatory Language" section of the Mozilla Community Participation Guidelines, instances of terms associated with mental illness such as "crazy" or "insane" used to negatively describe things should be replaced with more descriptive terminology such as "complicated", "unclear" or "absurd". The current usage unnecessarily perpetuates the stigma associated with mental illness and makes the codebase less inclusive.

This list can be updated as necessary, but to start tracking the work here are some terms to start with, linked to issues where they've been filed. Terms that would be replaced, but which don't currently exist in first-party code are listed as struck through.

- crazy
cuckoo- demented
deranged- hysterical
- insane
loco- loony/lunatic
madnutso/nutsy/nuttypsychotic- sanity check/test (see seanmhanson's note)
