Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Access https://login.excite.com/
  3. Print preview the page

Expected result

  • The background is rendered correctly

Actual result

  • The background is offset

Regression range

  • Will see for a regression

Additional notes

  • The issue can be seen in the attachment
  • The old modal is affected if the Print Background option is activated
  • Fission and webrender are both enabled

This seems to be an old regression.

This seems quite badly broken, but given how old the regression is, I guess it's probably not all that common.

Judging from the attached GIF it seems like a painting issue to me, not a layout bug.

Reproduced the same issue on Windows 10 x64, using Firefox 91.0b8, on the about:welcome page, it seems that the background photo is moving to the right of the page, with both print tab modal (print.tab_modal.enabled = false and with print.tab_modal.enabled=true) see the attachement Portrait+Landscape.zip.
