Steps to reproduce:

I upgraded the thunderbird package from version 1:78.4.0-1deb10u1 to 1:78.4.2-1deb10u1. (This is on Debian Linux 10, "Buster".)

After starting Thunderbird again, the two events that I had scheduled for today were missing. This was still true after downgrading the package.

I don't have a good way of checking whether any other events went missing, but these were the only ones I noticed. I did take a backup before upgrading, and I have since reverted both data and package, so I can derive a diff if given a process to follow for a diffable export.

These two events were on the same local calendar and both had reminders that had activated for today, but other events on the same calendar were still present, as was another event with an active reminder but on a different calendar. I was also able to make a new event in 78.4.2.

(That's supposed to be version 1:78.4.0-1~deb10u1 to 1:78.4.2-1~deb10u1.)
