On macOS, the system print dialog box includes an option to save the material to be printed to a PDF. Other web browsers, such as Opera, notice this and add an option in their modal print dialog to trigger this functionality directly.
Could this be added to the modal print dialog box that is under development?
Summary: Add 'Open PDF' option in modal print dialog on macOS → Add 'Save PDF' option in modal print dialog on macOS

Thanks for the suggestion. Here's a screenshot from Opera (I also see the same thing in Chrome) on macOS. If Save as PDF is selected and the document being printed is a PDF there's an Open PDF in Preview option.
I don't see that option on Windows for Chrome, presumably since there isn't as much of a canonical PDF viewer (or potentially because the default is Edge).
