Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
Firefox Nightly 84.0a1 (2020-11-15) (64-bit)
OS: Windows 10 64bit
Steps to reproduce:
- Open www.youtube.com
Actual results:
The sidebar is complete blank and clicking the notification bell will lead to infinite spinning loading ring.
When trying to figure out what happened, I opened up the console and reloaded the page. Everything went back to normal. My subscription showed up in the sidebar and the notification bell resumed working. When I closed the console and refreshed the page again, the bug reappeared.
Tried disabling all add-ons, clearing cache and logging out my Google account. Did not work.
Expected results:
The sidebar should show all my subscription and clicking the notification bell should show a list of notifications.
Having the same problem.....
Was temporarily fix after update 83.0, however, once I restated my laptop, the same problem occurred.

I'm having the same issue on 83.0. Sidebar is blank most of the time (sometimes it loads properly), but both the Notifications drop down, and the User Account drop down just get the spinning icon when you open them.
Did all the same things. Cleared Cache/Cookies, started in Safe mode, etc. Nothing helped.
Also when on the main youtube.com page, if you scroll down, it fails to load more suggested videos (same spinning icon).
All of these work fine on other browsers with the same user account.

Hey Cheng,
I tried reproducing this issue using the latest versions of Firefox Nightly 85.0a1 (2020-11-18), beta 84.0b5 and release 83.0 but the scroll bar is normal for me and clicking the bell icon doesn't throw me into an infinite spinning load.
Can you test the issue while in Safe Mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Also a fresh new profile could help. You can find more about creating a new profile here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_6-create-a-new-firefox-profile .
If possible, you can test this issue on the nightly build as well. Download the build from : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/nightly/all/ .

NO NO NO .....................
I went and downloaded and tried Firefox Nightly 85.0a1 (2020-11-18), beta 84.0b5 and release 83.0, and get the same error on all versions.
As I stated earlier, upon installing Mozilla 83.0, the problem when away. Upon restarting my laptop, the problem started once again.
PLEASE HELP US FIX THIS.

I tried with Safe Mode, a New profile, and Nightly 85.0a1, and all still have the same results. I log into my account at Youtube, and if I click the Notifications icon, I just get the spinning icon, and nothing loads.
Logging into the exact same account on Chrome works just fine, so it's not my account.
Same as post above. I used Microsoft Edge browser, and it works fine.
Firefox is the problem, PLEASE FIX.
