webcal protocol should essentially forward the URL to iCal on the Mac. IE already does this. None of: my 1.2a mozilla build, the released 0.5 Chimera, nor the latest Netscape release properly forward this URL on my machine. Steve Dagley claims this should already work. My machine disagrees. Does this work for anyone else? And if not, who best to get it in?
quote from bug 167773 comment 1 : >Any correctly programmed OS X browser, if it doesn't know how to handle a >protocol, should use Launch Services, which would redirect to iCal >automatically, without making the user modify its protocol bindings. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 167773 ***

+testcase, this depends on 167773, so I know to test it separately.

This is more of a dupe of 167773 rather than a dependency but marking FIXED in any case.

scc: Can I get a test URL here?
Summary: 'webcal' protocol not supported → webcal: protocol not supported
Here's one of my calendars; I just set this bugs URL field to webcal://ical.mac.com/scottcollins/scc-speaking-engagements.ics
