Steps to reproduce:

When Thunderbird starts, the calendar is empty. The content becomes only visible when the calendar button is pressed on "invisible* and then again on "visible"

Expected results:

When Thunderbird starts, the contents of the calendar must not be empty.

Is this a Google calendar and you are using the Provider for Google Calendar extension?

Try disabling the extension in the Add-ons Manager then re-enable it.

Yes this is a Google calendar. The Add-on is "Extension for Google Calendar".
As long as no major Win 10 updates come, this works with disabeling and re-enable on the add-on.
Otherwise I have to repeat.
