User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:83.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/83.0
Steps to reproduce:
- Navigate to a webpage (can be anything)
- Open new tab, navigate to another webpage
- Go back to tab in #1
This is on my old-school laptop running OSX High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G14042):
Model Name: MacBook Air
Model Identifier: MacBookAir4,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 1.8 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 2
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Boot ROM Version: 135.0.0.0.0
SMC Version (system): 1.73f66
Actual results:
The rendering of the page was completely garbled (see attachment).
NOTE that this doesn't happen consistently, but has happened multiple times since I updated Firefox to 83.0.
Expected results:
The page should look like it did in #1
The areas that look fine in the screenshot are where I moved my mouse. In other words, it's fine when repainting.
Also, note that even the UI is garbled. You can't see the whole URL.

As johshoff describes, I am experiencing garbled rendering on web pages; however, it displays garbled on initial navigation to page. It happens inconsistently, except for gmail and mahjong (at https://www.by-art.com/mjong/mjong.html). Screenshots attached. When I click on areas of the screen, information does display correctly and eventually the whole page will display properly. I am also on a MacBook Air (i5 processor) and running OSX High Sierra (10.13.6). Problems began when I upgraded Firefox to version 83.
Are there any log files I should attach to this bug report, and if so, where would I find them?
Thank you for your help!

We have added a blocklist rule as WR is broken with that hardware on OSX.
Nope, it seems like the blocklist rule fixed the issue. Thanks!
