Steps to reproduce:

  1. As i'm using Wayland, the only authorized screencast software is GNOME shell itself (incl. extensions). I'm using this extension to record screencast: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/690/easyscreencast/
  2. This recording plays perfectly into GNOME Videos and Google Chrome, but doesn't play inside Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1656211#c38

Actual results:

Recording doesn't play in Firefox

Expected results:

Recording should have played in Firefox as it does in Chrome and GNOME Videos

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.
