Can a Admin pls, erase my email under the second post? thanks...

I could not reproduce this issue on the latest Nightly 85.0a1 on Mac OS X 10.15. Considering this issue is on the new Mac M1, I'm assigning the component Widget:Cocoa so that someone with more knowledge in this area could take a look.

I tried Nightly and it works. I think I have to wait for the public release because Nightly is crashing to often... Thanks for the advice.

Could you please confirm what version of Firefox and macOS that you are using? Could you test and see if you are experiencing the same in Beta and/or Nightly? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/#beta

Summary: twitch not loding videos on new MacBook Air 2020 M1 → twitch not loading videos on new MacBook Air 2020 M1

Sorry, for the late response.
Im using macOS Big Sur Version 11.0.1
Chip Apple M1
I Tried Nightly 85.0a1 (64-Bit) but Twitch.tv worked but it was too broken at all. The program doesn't run more than a Minute. I send every Crash to Firefox. Maybe 20 of them!
I tried now also the Beta 84.0 (64-Bit) for youTwitch.tv works also. It run smooth but it crashed 2 times since I used it on a whole day.
Now I have there a different Problem. I think I have to open a new Bug report. It doesn't install the OpenH264-Videocodec Plugin. I tried many things from the Internet but its pending still.

For the twitch crashes, could you navigate to about:crashes and submit any crashes there that are not yet submitted, then copy the URLs for the submitted crashes onto this bug?

I would like to, but I dont have this old Version of the Browser anymore.
I reinstall the MacBook so all is new and I only use now Firefox 85.0b8. Here is the problem with the not installing H264 Videocodec... But Twitch.TV is working fine thats the reason I don´t use the other version of Firefox anymore.
So I don´t know, how can I help you?

But by the Way I always send evry crash to Firefox!

I've had a look at our crash stats to to see if I can find anything specific to media and/or twitch on arm64 MacOS, but haven't found anything yet. If you're able to install the version that was failing, create a new profile, and test with the version, that would be helpful. Without specific crashes, it will be difficult to diagnose further.

Yes I can reinstall that olf Firefox and send the crashes in this Bug report.
But Bug 1686470 is something diffrent. Twitch is working even H264 is not installing. Can you took a look also there.

Understood. We have some work in progress to address that bug, and we'll continue to track the issue in that bug and update it as the work progresses.

Can not download anymore Firefox 83.0 from the offical webside, so I treid Firefox 84.0.2. There is everything fine with Twitch.tv, but the Videocodec H264 is also not installed, maybe it takes a while but usually on a Windows PC its done in seconds.

You can close this case because the Twitch.tv problem seems to be fixed in Firefox 84 and 85.

Resolving this based on comment 19. We'll track the openh264 changes in bug 1686470.
