Thunderbird 78 doesn't decode inline PGP

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:83.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/83.0
Steps to reproduce:
I received a message containing an inline PGP (composed by Mailvelope). Outside the encrypted block it contained unencrypted text, which, I know, is bad practice. But it should not keep TB from decrypting the encrypted block.
Actual results:
The message was not automatically decrypted, neither does the context menu contain any option for decrypting the message.
Expected results:
Just as in TB 68 with enigmail, there should at least be an option to decrypt the block manually.

Which exact TB version do You use? This should be included in a bug report.
A similar bug 1673798 was solved with TB 78.5.0.

I am using TB 78.5 on Debian buster, from Debian backports. Same btw, for the Flatpak version. .
I see, #1649030 says, that this is fixed in TB 80. Has TB changed its versioning scheme lately? I did not expect a version 80 of TB to be published.

It should in general work, though you have to press the "Decrypt" button. Maybe there was a problem with that specific message?

The problem I saw is that outside the PGP block, there is some unencrypted text (basically, the footer).
Enigmail handles this just fine.
The problem is, that this is very often the case, because most peers use Mailvelope, which really sucks, but that's how it is.
