Affected versions

  • 84.0b4
  • 85.0a1 (2020-11-25)

Affected platforms

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 7
  • macOS 11.1
  • Ubuntu 20.04

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to https://tetra4d.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/TDP_Creo_Tetra4D_6_2017.pdf
  2. Open Print preview
  3. Reduce the scale level (eg. 30%)
  4. Scroll throughout the Preview and observe the content

Expected result

  • The content inside the Preview is clear and adjusted according to the scale set value

Actual result

  • The content is pretty bleary, visible especially on geometrical figures

Regression range

  • Not a regression, visible on old builds as well

Additional notes

  • Reproducible on old UI
  • Same scale on the actual page looks good

Suggested severity

  • S3
Has STR: --- → yes

:Anca, if you think that's a regression, then could you try to find a regression range in using for example mozregression?

It looks not-too-bad for me on a Retina screen (macOS), but on a lo-dpi external display it's very poor. Even on the hi-dpi screen, though, Chrome's preview does a noticeably nicer job of scaling it.
