ublock origin button and settings crash on 84beta1 through beta5

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 11.0; rv:84.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/84.0
Steps to reproduce:
clicking on ublock origin button in firefox toolbar or launching preferences
Actual results:
blank window and/or tab/app crashes
Expected results:
clicking the taskbar button should bring up the usual ublock origin controls, and selecting preferences should bring up the preference pane with available settings

Hi, would you mind giving us one of the crash IDs from about:crashes (type this in the URL bar) for one of those crashes? Hopefully the date and time is enough for you to find which is which (or maybe they are all the same, and you can just pick one). Thanks!
Just replicated the crash by enabling uBlock Origin and then trying to open its preferences, and here is that crash ID: bp-a1021120-1c02-4193-94f3-465a90201202

Thanks for the report, this is known and there is a patch in bug 1678226 that has just been approved, so this should be fixed in the next beta (a matter of days, probably, maybe less).
I'm closing this in favor of 1678226.
