User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:83.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/83.0

Steps to reproduce:

Enter http://thepiratebay.org
It does several redirections

Actual results:

It shows the site is insecure and uses http yet clicking on more details shows a valid certificate

Expected results:

It should have shown https and not http and not mark any secure errors

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Do you have any add-ons? Does it work correctly with add-ons disabled? What happens if you make a new profile?

In one of the computers I tried it on Firefox has zero extensions. Nevertheless I've tried opening another profile but it made no difference.
With that said, I did find out it only happens in private mode. Does it help?
That is, it shows https in regular mode yet http in private mode.

Yes, that helps - I can reproduce the issue now. Seems like a front-end issue perhaps?

Sure, but it won't make a difference in terms of when/how we work on this bug.
