Steps to reproduce:

There is button for showing ripple effect.

I opened it in both normal web version and responsive design mode.

Actual results:

If you open it in normal browsing mode the ripples will show properly.
But if you open it in Responsive deign mode, the ripples will go away.

Expected results:

Its should have same behavior no both mode.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

Seems to be influenced by the touch simulation option. When disabled, the effect shows as expected.
