Details

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #985365 +++

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:27.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/27.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20140212131424

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigated to advanced search ~ custom search
  2. Set up search of the form 'match all the above criteria against the same field':
  • changed by
  • changed to
  1. In changed to field entered %group. admin%

Actual results:

  1. Bugzilla error indicating user name was unrecognised

Expected results:

  1. Bugzilla should understand that %group.admin% is a valid search pronoun for the admin group, and process the search as if I had entered all the names of the group with an OR in between. (The alternative interpretation of all the names of the group with an AND in between is unlikely to be very useful, though if this needs to be provided for two operators 'changed by all' and 'changed by any' would probably be required instead of one).
