User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0
Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes the cursor doesn't change between pointer and default. This happens in both the Firefox UI (say tab bar) and in the pages themselves. When this happens the system might be experiencing a little higher CPU usage, probably from a 3rd party process, but most certainly not 100% CPU.
I am using Wayland/MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND and Fission.

I couldn't manage to reproduce this bug, I tried on both and old and fresh profile on Ubuntu 20.04 x64 on Firefox 84.0 and on Firefox Nightly 86.0a1.
Assigning "Core: DOM: UI Events & Focus Handling" component.

I haven't seen this with wayland.
Is this a regression or have you seen this behavior in the earlier releases too?

I'm not sure, i haven't seen it before this time which made me file the bug. But i have changed to KDE and X.org with clean install and i am currently on stable. I'm sorry, but i think i can't spend more time for testing Nightly because i have other issues i'm going through.
