M1 Mac Mini / macOS 11.1 / Firefox Beta 85b1

On first run, clean install / empty profile. Firefox is unresponsive for me for a few minutes. It shows the beachball cursor and does not respond to input.

I think this may have to do with Sync - the first thing I did after installing was to sign in to my Firefox Account.

Related to locking issue?

Any reason to suspect this is specific to ARM?

Hi Stefan,
We would need a bit more info about this issue to investigate. Right now I can't reproduce this by syncing a firefox addon that has themes, addons and passwords. Could you please share an about:support or mention if there are any specific addons synced? If you are 100% sure this happens only after using Firefox Sync it would be very useful to know what exactly do we sync to reproduce this.

Can you reproduce this by using sync on any other device you have?

A log from about:sync-log for that first sync would be useful - it's possible it still exists as it's likely to be an "error" log.

Unfortunately I don't think there's much we can do here without a log from about:sync-log
