User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0
Steps to reproduce:
Scroll the tab-bar with mousewheel
Actual results:
Tab-bar scrolls too fast/far with a single scroll and my eyes loose track of the tabs while it's scrolling so fast and too far.
Expected results:
Tab-bar should've scolled an appropriate amount, so my eyes wouldn't have to re-focus on which tab is which.
The scrollspeed is even worse when you increase the minimum tab-width.
This is really frustrating and needs atleast a setting in about:config. I can't use the tab-bar overflow like this...

Has this worked better in previous versions of Firefox?

Has this worked better in previous versions of Firefox?
I switched to Firefox ~2 months ago after being a Chrome User for a lot of years, so I don't know. It's been like this since I started using FF.

I managed to find a regression range:
- First bad: 2018-06-23
- Last good: 2018-06-22

While the issue is reproducible with a traditional mouse scrollwheel, it seems to be particularly problematic with multitouch trackpads; doing a two-fingers scroll on the tabs bar with such a touchpad, it is very difficult to be precise (given how little the fingers have to travel across the touchpad for Firefox's tabs scroll to slingshot across the screen with a multiplier effect).
