User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0

Steps to reproduce:

  • Send email to yourself encrypted, signed and with your public key attached
  • Receive above email (which contains an "OpenPGP_xxx.asc" file attachment)
  • Mail is shown as unread in thread pane, and without attachment icon
  • Klick on mail (to read it)

Actual results:

  • The attachment icon suddenly appears for the mail, until the status switches from "unread" to "read" (I have configured to switch status after 2 s reading), then it disappears again.
  • Klick on another mail in the thread pane
  • Klick back on the encrypted+signed mail: The attachment icon appears again
  • From now on the attachment icon is shown "stable"

You can now reproduce the bug by marking the mail as "unread" and then procede again like mentioned above.

Expected results:

The attachment icon should not switch weirdly on and off.

I can confirm this behavior for TB 78.6.0 on Windows 10 also.

I cannot reproduce with TB 91.5.1. With this version there is never an attachment icon shown in the attachment column.
