Summary: miner cyberforum.ru → miner blocker not working on cyberforum.ru

I have managed to reproduce this behavior on all the latest Chanel versions on Windows 10.
This issue also reproduces on other browsers, like Chrome, but it seems like a valid bug all the same.

This issue is not a recent regression as it also reproduces on a version as old as Firefox Release v55.

This may not be a Cryptomining issue to be related to this Component. Please set a more appropriate component is incorrect. Thank you!

Hi Steve,

How could we report the potential cryptominer? I don't think we can do anything but report the cryptominer scripts.

Hi Steve,

How could we report the potential cryptominer? I don't think we can do anything but report the cryptominer scripts.

As a first step we should figure out whether it's a first-party or third-party script. If third party we should report it to Disconnect. If it's first-party, we don't currently have a solution for this -- but we should keep the bug around as an example if we decide to try to improve things in the future.
