Note

• When the user downloads the mozregression-GUI (v4.0.15) and attempts to open it (while overriding the setting that disallows installing applications from unidentified developers) he will notice that the app stays on an infinite loading animation and the GUI won't open.

• does NOT occur on a Mac 10.15 system

Steps to reproduce

1. Download mozregression-GUI.dmg from https://github.com/mozilla/mozregression/releases
2. Open it while overriding the setting that disallows installing applications from unidentified developers.

Expected result

• It opens and is usable.

Actual result

• GUI won't display.

Regression range

• It occurs on v4.0.15 and v4.0.6 (probably all GUIs)
