User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 Prior to 1.1, typing "myhostname:8080" into the location bar would connect via http. 1.1 and now 1.2a give the error: 'myhostname is not a registered protocol'. Using the IP address does work, however. So '10.0.0.1:8080' WILL connect via http. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. type this into the location bar: "www.google.com:80" 2. 3. Actual Results: "www.google.com is not a registered protocol" Expected Results: Mozilla should attempt to connect to the givent host and port via http.
