Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0

Steps to reproduce:

On a recent sway git-master build and with latest Firefox Nightly (Webrender and Wayland widget vsync enabled), open www.vsynctester.com and watch for e.g. 1-3 minutes if there sometimes is stutter.

Actual results:

Sometimes there is intermittent stutter. It's rare though and the overall vsync experience is quite good (unlike with terrible 60fps timer clock when widget vsync isn't used). Though I don't know if Wayland widget source vsync is already expected to be absolutely perfect at this time.

Expected results:

Ideally there should be no stutter. There is no stutter with Firefox on Xorg or with Chromium running via XWayland on sway.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.
