Affected Versions:*

  • All latest Firefox German versions using force enable (Nightly 86, Beta RC 85.0, Release 84.0.2)

Tested on:

  • MacOS 10.15
  • Windows 10

Prerequisites:

  • browser.search.region DE
  • extensions.formautofill.supportedCountries DE
  • download latest Firefox Nightly with region locale (switch extensions.formautofill.available to "on" for testing non-Nightly builds)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Go about:preferences#privacy
  3. Open the credit card storage modal
  4. Save 1 new complete CC entry
  5. Check the info provided about the saved entry in the modal

Expected Results:
The saved CC entry should display as follows: Card Type Logo, Masked Number, Cardholder Name, Expiry Date

Actual Results:
See attached screenshot.

Notes:

  • Severity: S2, although this happens only on the DE versions, this should be fixed as it is a visible user-facing issue. Happens using the save doorhanger on form submits as well. I recall to have seen this before in some submitted bug but couldn't find it atm.
  • Reproducible on Chrome?: Not applicable
  • Regression-range: reproducible on all latest versions, looking into it asap

Apparently, that is in german. Translated it mean: "expires on"
