Promeneur, thanks for the time invested in reporting this enhancement request. I'm not sure that I fully understand your request though. There is already a way of enabling or disabling the HTTPS-Only Mode by selecting from one of the options from about:preferences#privacy. Please see
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-only-prefs
Please give more details, if the above information does not satisfy your needs.
i did not well explain.
i don't want to disable FF http feature.
I use "http everywhere".
"Http everywhere" if the site does not supply https then it switches silently and automatically to http without any warning.
I want the same thing with FF http feature.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Core::Widget: Gtk' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Do you have HTTPS-Only Mode
enabled? If yes, you could just turn it off. If not, could you explain more? Is there a website you expected to load with http
, but firefox uses https
instead?
Thanks.
if a web site does not get https protocol then "https only" silently switches to http protocol and displays the web page.

It sounds like you want to have something like HTTPS-Only Mode
without the warning page.
Switch the component to DOM:Security
for further discussion.

In fact we have Bug 1658924 on file, which discusses the following Support TRY-HTTPS-FIRST and automatically fall back to http if it doesn't work
, which is actually the request here as well.
