User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:85.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/85.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have 3 tabs open, have the very left one in the foreground.
  2. close the middle tab with MMB
  3. go into "History", "Recently Closed Tabs" and click middle mouse-button on the closed tab

Actual results:

Closed tab re-opens on the very right

Expected results:

Would be nice if the tab opens directly right of the currently viewed tab, if the user uses MMB on mouse to re-open a closed tab.

I can confirm that middle clicking a previously closed tab from "recently closed tabs" opens it as a "new tab", ctl+clicking it however, does not.

I'm going to set a component in order to involve the development team in reviewing this.

Thanks!
