Text-entry fields have extremely slow typing response when the page shows a lot
of animated GIFs, along with a visually jittery insertion marker. I've noticed
this in connection with a UBB forum that has a lot of annoying animated
emoticons that can be clicked to insert the appropriate code in the text. See
the referenced URL and attempt to post.
This may be related to bugs 153417 and/or 167020

Reporter, you forgot to mention the URL.
Anyway, this is basically bug 148098. Animated GIFs just cause it to get even
worse; it's not an issue on its own.
