What are your search settings in the browser? There is a checkbox that says to show these in private browsing down at the bottom -- is that checked?
We do see the NON-private search history showing, despite the checkbox, but the PRIVATE searches are not suggested. The searches made in non-private mode are not private, so it's OK to show them.

Do you mean the individual word suggestions at the top of your keyboard? Whether those are saved depend on what keyboard you use. The Google "Gboard" keyboard and Microsoft SwiftKey honor the browser's private browsing / incognito mode and don't save what you type. Many other keyboards don't seem to care, for example the default keyboard from my phone manufacturer.
