Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have Temporary Containers Add-on enabled https://github.com/stoically/temporary-containers
  2. Go to any webpage within a temporary container. (for instance https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mozilla)
  3. click the hamburger icon in top right of browser to open menu
  4. select "Print" from dropdown menu
  5. check the box for "Simplify Page"
  6. Click the Print button this is where it fails

Note:
I reproduced the problem on a brand new profile. The print worked before installing Temporary Containers. It failed after I installed Temporary Containers.

Actual results:

A window with "Gah. Your tab just crashed." and a few buttons that don't work is presented.

Expected results:

It should have opened the computer's printer popup box asking which printer you want to send the file to.

The Bugbug bot thinks this bug should belong to the 'Toolkit::Printing' component, and is moving the bug to that component. Please revert this change in case you think the bot is wrong.

Could reproduce with the old window-modal print preview, appears to work (or at least doesn't crash) with the tab modal print.
