Follow up to bug 1692382 we can't upgrade React until warnings are fixed (which become errors in the following version).
How to:
Enable browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.debug open a newtab page and open the page devtools. Tips are provided about how to make the transition and which components need to be fixed.
