CSSWG is discussing whether or not prefers-contrast: forced should remain part of the prefers-contrast query, or if it should be removed since its a duplication of forced-colors. The lingering question is: are there enough users in the space between prefers-contrast:more and prefers-contrast:less that keeping a middle prefers-contrast value is useful? (useful, in the sense that developers would not have to support prefers-contrast: more, less and also forced-colors:active).
We should add probes that log HCM users contrast ratios so we can see where people fall on that spectrum :)
