Play video from https://livestreamfails.com/post/83956

mozregression GUI pushlog: https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/autoland/pushloghtml?fromchange=649c45dbaf1788fce8bce4d4ad039dc39f47421a&tochange=c5f004fdef590970287dbf8b5eecb1a4dd50d05f

Actual results:

Error "No video with supported format and MIME type found."

The problem is the request to https://stream.livestreamfails.com/video/5edffa335be70.mp4 fails. It only supports HTTP, but was upgraded to HTTPS due to 1633743. Nightly-only.

Is this still an issue? I'm not able to repro. Could be livestreamfails are now serving the file securely?

Yes, it looks like this is working again.

This one is working for me now too. It seems like livestreamfails has a transient issue with mp4s not being available over https.

Christoph, do you have any thoughts? Following bug 1633743, is there any action we should take when discovering issues like this in nightly?

Thanks for letting me know. At this point we are unsure when we are attempting to ship mixed content auto upgrading in release. For now, I'll just mark this bug blocking the pref-flip-bug-for-release (Bug 1672106). I guess marking issues blocking this bug is the way to go - thanks for asking.

This site works for me with or without upgrading of display content, and it works in Chrome which also upgrades display content.
