Now that the new installer (with smartupdate enabled) is being built daily, it
needs to be delivered to where the old installer is.

the old installer should be then delivered to a subdirectory, like backup.

example:
  daily builds get delivered to:
    ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/[today]

the new installer should be delivered to the above url. The installer
executable should be renamed from nsinstall.exe to install.exe (or
  something more mnemonic).

The old installer bits should be delivered to:
    ftp://sweetlou/products/client/seamonkey/windows/32bit/x86/[today]/backup

of something more mnemonic than "backup".

This is to make sure people will be more likely to use the new installer, which
they should be doing anyways.

Cathleen suggested that this change should be done next week.

Please remember to make sure that the both installers are built with references
to their new URL paths.

This is for windows, so far. I don't know the status of Mac or Unix.

I'll do this. I just want everyone to be aware that this will add between 15 and
30 minutes to the verification cycle, until i can find faster network share
software. I'll make the change today, it will be effective tomorrow.
Target Milestone: M11
this is done, isn't it?
