Details

Mozilla V1.1 for MacOS 9.x Machine ID 406 Mozilla V1.1 does not properly open windows when requested to do (like with 'Open in new page' of CMD-N. The browser keeps the windows all one uniform size, but tiles one below the next. The result is that the second and following windows are partially off screen. The code is supposed to know the size of the screen, and then only open a window of that size. This results in the tiled windows getting smaller and smaller, of course, but it is better than having to move every window. MacOS Human Interface guidelines state that the window is to remain on screen, and not be left partially off screen.
I don't see this with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.2a) Gecko/20020910 build 2002091014. The first CMD-N opens a window with its top left corner in the top left corner of the screen. If I continue open windows they're opening at the same place as the first. They're of the same size as the first window
