Today I run some AWSY tp6 tests to investigate problems with my patches on bug 1686741. At some point I might have canceled the mach command with Ctrl+C. After a while I noticed that the fan blows all the time, and a mitmproxy process was remaining consuming 100% CPU load.

We should check in which situation a mitmproxy process can stay alive, or why we aren't able to kill it. I assume that we do/try a SIGKILL in case a shutdown didn't work?
